Marble - its timeless yet modern look has been present in our lives since ancient times. Now it appears in fashion and interior designs.

Slowly the Scandinavian kind of christmas decorations are becoming more popular in Holland.
Don't you just love the wooden trees, the Pia Wallen cross blanket (Sorry just can't enough of it), white candles and cute "little christmas trees in a bag"?

I am happy to share my first picture publication with you.
Last month, Christine of Fash-n-Chips was featured in Nylon Mexico.
The picture I took of her for Fash-n-Chips and StunningStreetstyle, was added to the article.
So cool to see my picture in a magazine for the first time.
(It's the one on top of the right page)

-Marble in your interior- is becoming a huge trend.
It creates a luxurious look and feel, that fits perfectly with the festive season.
On the other hand, you can also keep it quite minimalistic and sober when combining it with black and whites.

I know I'm not the first person to share these pictures, but since the styling in this shoot is just perfect I just have to share it. It really inspires me to create such a beautifil styling shoot too one day.

The holidays are coming and therefore I have selected some gift ideas below 50 euro. My favourite item is the sticky lamp by Droog.
All of these gifts are available at the Bijenkorf

Lately I'm really into grey home details. Grey teamed with white gives your interior a quite industrial look and feel. To me these colours fit perfectly with this time of the year. November greys and winter whites. Yes I am slowly getting ready for a white christmas, haha....

In my monthly item fashion vs interior I'm comparing fashion trends with interior trends.
I find it quite interesting to see that colours, materials and patterns used both in fashion and interior are often very similar.

Love the design of these shelves and coat rack!
And it shouldn't be too difficult to create one myself ;-)

It has been a while since I created my last fashion vs interior, but when I saw these amazing coats in the Marie-Claire October issue, I knew that I just had to make a post about it.
As a streetstyle photographer, I am always looking for inspiration and I think this shoot really is one of my favourite editorials of this month. Photographer Patric Shaw and stylist Jayne Pickering created the perfect end of summer look and feel. And I must say Svea Berlie really looks stunning. She makes me what to wear everything she is wearing.

If I could put 6 items on my wishlist right now, it would be these items.
Which item do you like most?
By the way, can anyone tell where I can find these stunning lightbulbs? Please.....? :-)

I just came across these pictures on my Pinterest board and they made me feel so relaxed that I just had to post them. Since I have officially sold my house today, the last couple of days have been all about packing and unpacking my stuff. It seems like every corner in our house is a mess at this moment and that it why these pictures make me feel so calm.

Concrete is trending. It took me a while to understand why, but now I understand! Concrete has plenty to offer in interiors. Its strong lines lend a sophisticated, urban edge to any room. The secret is not to over-use it. If you are interested in implementing concrete, try to use one or two statement pieces and soften it with natural materials.

Love the industrial look and feel of these products.
If you combine steal or concrete with natural materials such as wood, wool, or fur you can create a industrial look and still keep it cozy.
